Visa Information
A thirty day free visa is issued on arrival for all nationalities, provided you have the following:
- Valid passport with Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) - (standard ICAO Annex 9, chapter 3.10.1)
- Passport must have at least 6 months validity.
- Valid ticket to continue the journey out of Maldives.
- Have enough funds to cover the expenses for duration of the stay in Maldives. (US$100 + $50 dollars per day) or a confirmation of reservation in a tourist resort or a hotel.
Closest Airport
Velana International Airport (Male’ - MLE)
Sun Aqua Vilu Reef Maldives is reached by seaplane from the airport. It would be best to book an international flight arriving latest by 3pm to MLE, to be able to reach the resort on the same day. Otherwise, overnight stay would have to be booked in Male’ or Hulhumale. For these guests, a seaplane transfer will be arranged the following morning.

Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy
- To cancel a confirmed reservation should be 21 days before the arrival.
- No Shows and Early Departure will be charged 100% of the total stay.
- Cancellations received after 21 days will be charged 25% of the total stay.
- Cancellations received after 14 days will be charged 50% of the total stay.
- Cancellations received after 07 days will be charged 75% of the total stay.
- Cancellations received after 03 days will be charged 100% of the total stay.
