Moosa Waseem is one of the most familiar faces on Maldivian television. He is the host of Maldivian Idol, the nation’s most popular TV show, and other presenting credits include Heyyambo, Rahathafaathu, Ehaaraai Mihaaru and Raajje Miadhu. He also serves as the anchor on primetime Maldivian news, and his journalism achievements include interviewing high profile politicians and VIPs. Despite his rigorous schedule, he manages to squeeze in time to lecture in journalism at Maldives National University.

Aminath Lamha Latheef is best known as the presenter of Maldivian Idol, and her on-screen chemistry with co-host, Moosa. But she first found fame through her vocal talents and her performance on the show ‘Ehandhaanuga’. Her melodic voice continues to mesmerize audiences at entertainment shows, charity events and award ceremonies across the Maldives and beyond.
