1998 Bahamas

Over four hundred stars of travel, screen and stage joined together tonight to celebrate excellence in the global travel market under the moonlight of the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort. The fifth year of this annual event sees the World Travel Awards held for the first time outside of the United States. Previous venues have included The Plaza, New York, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas and Universal Studios, Florida.
