The International Convention Centre Durban is located in the heart of Durban, just a quarter of an hour from the airport and minutes from hotels and beaches. Palm trees form a welcoming avenue while at the entrance to the centre three baobabs, Africa's tree giants, bid a regal greeting.

Durban's International Convention Centre is now South Africa's biggest conference and exhibition centre, having undergone a R460-million transformation in 2006 - 2007.

ICC Durban is one of the most advanced conference facilities in the world. Flexibility and versatility are key factors in the design of this state-of-the-art technology-driven centre.

The building was officially opened in 1997 by President Nelson Mandela and has gone on to attracted many exciting and influential people during the major events staged over the past ten years.

ICC Durban is where Africa and the world meet, and is the perfect host venue for the 2008 World Travel Awards Africa Ceremony.
