Since beginning his career at the turn of the millennium, Mr. Zhang Ling has made a unique contribution to the growth of tourism in China; with the launch of the HNA Cruises, the first Chinese luxury cruise company, and the development of Tangla Hotel Tianjing, the only property in China to be awarded the Six Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, among his crowning achievements.

He has also been behind the growth of Deer Jet, the first Asian private jet charter company to obtain the ARGUS Platinum Five-Star rating and the IS-BAO certification, and now the largest company of its kind in the Asian Pacific region.

Under his leadership, the HNA Tourism Group has grown to become one of the most dynamic enterprises in modern China; developing into the sixth largest tourism group, with a turnover of more than $3.5 billion and a workforce of over 18,000 employees.
