Founded in the 16th century on the ruins of an Inca city and standing at an altitude of 2,850 metres above sea level, this city is the best-preserved, least altered historic centre in Latin America. The huge city sprawls across a breathtaking valley surrounded by volcanic peaks and offers business and leisure visitors first world services in a UNESCO World Heritage site.
