UAE cleans up in travel awards
The UAE has dominated the inaugural World Travel Awards for the Middle East and North Africa, winning 43 of 65 categories. Dubai was voted leading business destination and Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace hotel was judged leading resort and conference hotel in the Middle East. Abu Dhabi won the award for the best new destination and its airline Etihad Airways for leading airline.
