Important change 2012: WTA shields
World Travel Awards has unveiled an updated winners and nominees shield.
The new artwork aims to provide a visually-enhanced symbol of travel excellence, whilst maintaining the core design elements of the original and globally-recognised WTA shield.
The shield will work across print, broadcast and online platforms. In particular, it will offer a simple and clean design specifically for use at smaller resolutions, such as on email signatures, websites and business cards.
The launch comes as part of a new package of benefits for WTA winners and nominees being rolled out during 2012. The redesign will not affect previous victories and nominations, and simply aims to help new winners and nominees leverage their marketing potential.
Only World Travel Awards winners and nominees are entitled to the use of the relevant shield for 2012.
