Auckland city, Air New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand have taken out top spots in Australasia categories at the World Travel Awards in Singapore.

For the fourth year in a row Air New Zealand has been voted leading airline and for the third time Tourism New Zealand, a Government department, took out the award for leading tourism board.

Auckland was voted the region's leading destination.

All regional winners will compete for the World Travel Awards' global award of which the winner will be announced in New Delhi on December 12.
