The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa has won the 'Bahrain's Leading Hotel' award by The World Travel Awards 2012.

The new accolade brings the total number of World Travel Awards that the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain has won over the past years to 16.

"We are very proud that we have been acknowledged with this prestigious award," said general manager Mark Neukomm.

"This honour recognises our ladies and gentlemen for their dedication to providing genuine care and comfort, and leading the way in aspects such as service excellence and guest engagement to create memorable experiences every day."

World Travel Awards, established 18 years ago, acknowledge, reward and celebrate achievements in all sectors of the global travel industry.

Winners have been decided by industry professionals and travellers across the globe casting their votes for what they consider to be the very best travel and tourism products in the Middle East.
