Venue
The Teatro de Cristóbal Colón (The Chistopher Columbus Theatre), also known as the “Teatro Colón”, is Colombia's National Theatre. It was built in 1885 in the Neoclassical style by the Italian architect Pietro Cantini.
The Colón Theatre was declared a National Monument on 11 August 1975. Five years ago it reopened after an extensive two-year renovation programme.
