Rosewood is celebrating yet again as Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel has laid claim to another distinguished title from the most important awards for residential and commercial property in the region.
The ultra-luxury hotel, a landmark at the heart of the city’s Olaya district, has won an award at the Arabian Property Awards in the category of Best Hotel – more than 50 rooms, for Saudi Arabia.
“We are honoured and proud to set the standard for hotels in the region. Our team continues to build upon our successes, and in doing so brings wider recognition for the Kingdom’s hospitality industry”, said Peter Finamore, Managing Director of Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel.
The Arabian Property Awards, in association with CNBC Arabiya, distinguish winners for their excellence in areas such as hospitality, development and architecture in the Middle East property industry.
“We have been the property at the forefront of development and design since our opening in May 2000, and this award puts the spotlight on our groundbreaking expansion plan and validates our leadership in innovative design in the Kingdom and the region,” Finamore added.
The win comes with additional significance as the awards are part of the International Property Awards, the world’s most prestigious competition dedicated to finding the best real estate professionals across the globe. Al Faisaliah Hotel’s success reflects more widely on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s competitive standing in the property and hospitality markets of the Middle East.

All of the Arabian winners were announced at a high-profile gala dinner at the Madinat Jumeirah hotel in Dubai on 25th October, where they were presented with their awards.
Earlier this year, Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel was named Saudi Arabia’s Leading Business Hotel at the 2009 World Travel Awards. The hotel was also distinguished for Excellence in Customer Service at the inaugural Kingdom Hotel Expansion Awards.
These were among the growing collection of prestigious prizes obtained in recent years by the hotel, accolades sure to grow as Al Faisaliah’s multi-million-dollar expansion nears its scheduled opening in 2010.
