Avis Europe is currently celebrating a raft of travel awards which include prestigious titles such as Car Hire Company of the Year which was given out at the British Travel Awards and Europe’s Leading Business Car Rental Company awarded at the World Travel Awards. In total Avis has managed to scoop ten awards. Group commercial director for Avis Europe, Wolfgang Neumann said that the recognition given to the car rental firm at such prestigious awards ceremonies was very pleasing. He said that the awards were a confirmation that Avis was managing to deliver a premium service to its customers both in Europe and around the world.

As well as the European accolades Avis managed to win the title of Leading Car Rental Company for Asia, Africa and the Indian Ocean at the World Travel Awards. At the same awards ceremony it also claimed the prize for Leading Business Car Rental Company in the Middle East as well as the world.

Avis managed to pip rivals to the post because of its outstanding levels of service in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Amongst the numerous services that Avis offers its business and leisure customers is the complimentary Avis Preferred service. This is a priority service which the company says guarantees that customers will be in possession of the keys to their hire vehicle in under three minutes.

Other awards were TTG Car Hire Company of the year and Best Customer Service of the Year given out by Viseo Conseil.
