Qatar Airways has won World´s Leading Airline - Business Class for the second consecutive year.
The award was conferred during the 16th World Travel Awards in London.
Speaking on the occasion, Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker expressed his delight over the achievement. "This award is recognition that Qatar Airways continues to lead in what is a highly competitive aviation industry by offering the most innovative premium services to our valued customers. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who works at Qatar Airways for making the airline the success it is today," said he, as quoted in the release.
Qatar Airways operates a fleet of 71 aircraft serving 84 cities across Europe, Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Far East and North America. It currently has outstanding orders for more than 220 aircraft worth over $40 billion.
