Several hotels and hotel companies were honored during the World Travel Awards North and Central America regional ceremony. In the North American categories, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts took home four awards, including Canada's leading golf resort, Canada's leading ski resort, Canada's leading business hotel, and North America's leading golf resort. The award for leading hotel brand for North America went to Marriott. In Central America, Hotel Parador Boutique Resort & Spa was named the region's leading hotel.

Each winner moves on to the WTA Grand Final, which will take place at the Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel in London on November 8th immediately before World Travel Market.
