Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel, has reinforced its position in the Kingdom as the leading business and events venue by hosting the recent Euromoney Saudi Arabia Conference, for the fourth time.

Just weeks after winning Saudi Arabia’s Leading Business Hotel for the second consecutive year at the World Travel Awards, Al Faisaliah opened its doors to the country’s foremost businessmen, led by the Minister of Finance, His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf.

During this fourth edition of Euromoney Saudi Arabia, considered by many to be the most important due to the current economic climate, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was also represented by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Abdullah Alireza, the Central Bank Governor, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser and the Minister of Transport, His Excellency Dr. Jobarah Al-Suraisry.

The VIPs and dignitaries came together with 1,300 high profile delegates, speakers, senior bankers, investors, government representatives and senior management from leading corporate institutions over two days in the Prince Sultan Grand Hall, the Kingdom’s largest column-free public space.

Saudi Arabia caught global attention at the conference, which was well attended by delegates from overseas, due to the Kingdom’s low external debt, high foreign currency reserves and non-oil expanding sectors; as such the country was positioned as a key business partner and promising investment destination.

“Euromoney is the world’s most prestigious organiser of strategic financial events, reinforcing Saudi Arabia as a rising economy in the world,” said Costas Gavriel, Director of Sales and Marketing, Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel.

“Having recently received the award from our hospitality industry colleagues as the Kingdom’s leading business hotel, we were well placed to host such an important event which brought finance leaders from around the world to Riyadh” added Gavriel.

Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel, is a landmark at the heart of the city’s Olaya district. The hotel’s Prince Sultan Grand Hall has recently hosted the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market, the annual flagship even for the tourism industry, and the 31st King Faisal International Prize awards ceremony with 1,000 guests including Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz.
