Travel Daily News: Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort to host WTA Europe Gala Ceremony 2026

World Travel Awards has announced that Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort will host the Europe Gala Ceremony 2026, marking the organisation’s first event in Montenegro in its 33-year history.

The VIP reception is scheduled to take place on 17 October 2026 and will bring together travel and tourism industry leaders from across Europe.

Located on the waterfront of Kotor Bay, Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort offers accommodation, dining and wellness facilities overlooking the Adriatic coastline and surrounding mountains.

Kotor, a UNESCO-listed destination, is known for its medieval architecture, Romanesque churches, historic squares and fortified walls rising above the bay.

The World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony 2026 will recognise winners across categories including hotels, airlines, tour operators and destinations.

The ceremony forms part of the organisation’s annual Grand Tour, a series of events hosted across different regions worldwide. Destinations included in this year’s programme are Zanzibar, Maldives, Saint Lucia and the United Arab Emirates, with the Grand Final scheduled to take place in Tanzania.
