Radio Angulo: Six Meliá Cuba hotels compete in the 2025 World Travel Awards

The Meliá Hotels International chain, with a prominent presence in Cuba, announced that six of its establishments on the island have been nominated for the prestigious World Travel Awards 2025.

These awards, which are now in their 32nd edition, highlight the best destinations and accommodations in the world. Based on the evaluations of experts, travellers and professionals in the sector.

Among the nominees, two five–star hotels are vying for the title of Cuba‘s Leading Hotel: the emblematic Meliá Cohiba and the exclusive Meliá Cayo Coco. The first, located on Havana‘s iconic Malecón, recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and is recognized for its privileged location, ideal for business travelers, events and food lovers.

For its part, Meliá Cayo Coco, located in the northern keys of Ciego de Ávila, is an all–inclusive destination for adults that has been recently renovated, becoming a favorite for weddings, romantic trips and honeymoons.

Also in the Suite category of Cuba‘s Leading Hotel, The Level Master Suite at the Meliá Cohiba is emerging as a strong candidate. This space combines exquisite design, incomparable sea views and personalized service that promises a unique experience for its guests.

In the Leading Resort section of Cuba, two jewels of Caribbean luxury compete for the award: Paradisus Varadero and Paradisus Princesa del Mar. Both resorts, located next to the crystal clear waters of Varadero. Voting for the 2025 World Travel Awards will remain open until June 22, giving tourism lovers the opportunity to support their favorite destinations and accommodations.
