Manila Standard: City of Dreams Manila earns global recognition at travel and culinary awards

1 February 2025 - Manila Standard

City of Dreams Manila secured major accolades at the 2024 World Travel Awards (WTA) and World Culinary Awards, highlighting its excellence in hospitality, gaming, and dining as the integrated resort marks its 10th anniversary.

The property was named the World’s Leading Casino Resort for the fifth consecutive year during WTA’s Grand Final Gala Ceremony in Madeira, Portugal. The recognition follows its earlier win as Asia’s Leading Casino Resort at the WTA Asia and Oceania Gala held in September at its Grand Ballroom, the first time the regional event was hosted in the Philippines.

In addition to its casino accolades, the resort has been honored as Asia’s Leading Fully Integrated Resort three times and the World’s Leading Fully Integrated Resort in 2023. Established in 1993, the WTA celebrates excellence across travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors.

City of Dreams Manila also shone at the World Culinary Awards in Dubai, where its signature restaurants, Nobu Manila and Crystal Dragon, were recognized as the Philippines’ Best Restaurant and Best Hotel Restaurant, respectively. Both venues were also the only Philippine entries nominated in the Asia-level categories.

The World Culinary Awards, a sister event of the WTA, aims to honor excellence in the global culinary industry, with winners spanning regions including Europe, the U.S., Asia, and the Middle East.
