Abu Dhabi Airports has been named the world’s leading airport operator.
Abu Dhabi took over the award from last time’s winner, Malaysia airport. Others in the running were The Airports Company South Africa, Kenya Airports Authority, Los Angeles World Airports, Malaysia Airports and Oman Airports.
The World Travel Awards is a credible measure of success, thanks to the rigorous voting process it applies for the awards. This fact further amplifies the the win for Abu Dhabi Airports.
Muna Al Ghanim, vice president for customer experience and relationship management at Abu Dhabi Airports, received the award at the 30th annual World Travel Awards ceremony held recently.

This award further cements Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global aviation hub. And the newly-launched Terminal A of the Abu Dhabi International Airport’s is no doubt, the jewel in the crown.
