Associate Times: St Lucia nominates for Six Industry Gold Standard Titles in 29th World Travel Awards

The country has been nominated for the six prestigious 2022 titles in the 29th annual World Travel Awards. The Travel awards also provide an opportunity to the Tourism Industry of St Lucia to showcase their gold standard across the globe. The World Travel Awards Grand Final Ceremony will take place in Jamaica on June 14th, 2022.

As per the reports, the name of the six titles are:

1. Caribbean’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination
2. Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Destination
3. Caribbean’s Leading Destination
4. Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination
5. Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Island Destination
6.  Caribbean’s Leading Nature Destination

Further, there are also many other categories, in which St Lucia has been named, and Service providers across St Lucia are also vying for the title of the Island’s best in the following categories:

• Caribbean’s Leading Boutique Resort 2022: Ladera Resort
• Caribbean’s Leading Green Resort 2022: Fond Doux Eco Resort
•  Caribbean’s Leading Hotel 2022: The Landings Resort & Spa
• Caribbean’s Leading Hotel Suite 2022: Beachfront Grande Rondoval Butler Suite with Private Pool Sanctuary at Sandals Grande St. Lucian

World Travel Awards has been knwon as global initiative that recognizes and rewards excellence in travel and tourism. With six nominations in the 2022 Caribbean category, St Lucia is eager to add more accolades to its already prestigious list. The country is the ‘World’s Leading Honeymoon Destination’ 13 times over, with the most recent honour bestowed in 2021.

Further, St Lucia has already secured the ‘Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination title.
