North American World Travel Award nominees are in

The 2008 North American World Travel Award nominations are in, and everyone’s getting ready for heady gala event set to take place Saturday the 6th of September.

With hosts for the evening tipped to be Melora Hardin of The Office and Walt Willey of All My Children, and comedian Rodney Laney is set to make an appearance, it is sure to be a festive evening.

“We are honoured to be working with two great brand names – Eurostar, one of the most exciting gateways to Europe and THETRADESHOW which has a hugely successful reputation as the most effective business show of its kind in the US,” said Graham Cooke, WTA President and Founder.

THETRADESHOW, North America’s largest business industry exhibition, will this year be partnering with WTA, and as such host the awards ceremony at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando.

“THETRADESHOW is glad to partner with the World Travel Awards in order to further showcase and create global business connections within the travel community,” said Bill Maloney a spokesperson for THETRADESHOW.

“This partnership will not only expand our reach to travel professionals across the world, but will allow the industry’s key figures to meet and network in the context of celebration, education and business development.”

In 2008, more than 100 Central American, 160 North American and 100 Canadian organisations have been nominated in their respective regional categories.
