Vestnik Kavkaza: Batumi nominated for World Travel Awards

Georgia’s resort town of Batumi has been nominated as Europe’s leading, growing tourist destination at the World Travel Awards.

Sofia (Bulgaria), Matera (Italy), Bako (Azerbaijan), Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Kutna Hora (Czech Republic) are competing Batumi in this nomination.

The winner will be revealed on June 8 in Madeira, Portugal, where the award ceremony will be held.

The World Travel Awards were established in 1993.
