Prensa Latina: Bolivia Wins Best Green Destination at World Travel Awards

Bolivian President Evo Morales celebrated the prize. 'Our beloved #Bolivia was selected as Best Green Destination of South America, an award given by the World Travel Awards; another recognition for our natural wealth,' the president tweeted.

'We are very proud of our heritage and we must take care of it to encourage tourism,' he added in his message.

By obtaining this distinction, Bolivia takes a step towards the final dispute that will take place on December 1st in Lisbon, Portugal, in the category of Best Green Destination of the World 2018, along with Costa Rica, Ecuador, Fiji, Madagascar, Norway, and Peru.
