Malaysia’s Genting Highlands Resort awarded WTA’s ‘World’s Leading Casino’
Malaysia’s sole legal land-based casino, the Genting Highlands Resort, has been named 2007’s ‘World’s Leading Casino resort’ at the 14th annual World Travel Awards.
“Catering also to families, honeymooners and holidaymakers, the resort’s standards and facilities are world class; and the quality of service is second to none,” said Mr Mokhtar, Malaysia’s Director of Tourism.
Run by Resorts World Bhd, the Genting Highlands Resort has also been awarded the 2007 and 2008 ‘Hospitality Asia Platinum Award’ as well as ‘Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brand’ for 2007 as well as the 2007 ‘Malaysia Spa and Wellness Award’.
