InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) was triumphant at the World Travel Awards, winning five accolades at the grand final gala ceremony in New Delhi, India.

The UK-based global company, which has more 4,500 hotels across nearly 100 countries, carried off awards for the World’s Leading Budget Hotel Brand for Holiday Inn Express, and World’s Best Leading Business Hotel Brand, World’s Leading Hotel Brand and Europe’s Leading Hotel Brand for its luxury InterContinental Hotels and Resorts brand. The InterContinental London Park Lane also won the title of England’s Leading Conference Hotel.

Held at the Oberoi in Gurgaon, New Delhi, the awards final was the culmination of a year-long search for the winners, following regional finals held in Dubai, Turks & Caicos Islands, Portugal and Singapore.
