A Tourism New Zealand campaign linking the country to The Hobbit trilogy has reaped an international award.
The “100 percent Middle-earth, 100 percent Pure New Zealand” promotion was named best destination marketing campaign at the World Travel Awards in New Delhi.
"It is a huge honour to win this category," Tourism NZ chief executive Kevin Bowler said.
