Travel software firm Datalex is performing in line with expectations, the Irish company said this morning in an update to the market.

The company asserted it expects to deliver strong growth in EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), and cash generation year on year, while continuing to expand its customer base.

"Notwithstanding the constant challenges that our industry and our customers face, the successful go lives and new business wins in 2012 to date, together with the additional planned go lives in Q4, demonstrate that we are meeting our operational and strategic objectives," the firm said in an interim management statement.

In October, Datalex reached an agreement with a European carrier for the deployment of its full e-commerce platform. Datalex was also selected as the preferred supplier to an Australasian carrier for the roll-out of its merchandising platform, the same month.

The company was chosen as the leading travel merchandising solution provider in Asia, Europe and North America at the World Travel Awards.

Founded in 1985, the company is headquartered in Dublin, and maintains offices across Europe, the USA and Asia-Pacific.
