The Bahamas is in the running for another prestigious travel award - the 2012 World Travel Award for Best Cruise Destination.

World Travel Awards organizers announced the distinguished nominees for the awards, which will be held at the Grand Final Gala ceremony in Delhi on December 12. Others nominated in the same category are Copenhagen, Dubai, Istanbul and Izmir and Port of Kusadasi in Turkey, Jamaica, Lisbon, Maldives, Miami, Shanghai, Stockholm and Sydney, Austalia.
