This year’s World Travel Awards have been announced revealing some of the hospitality and travel industry’s brightest stars. Top honors went out to; Lufthansa, Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, DFDS Seaways, Disneyland Paris and Norwegian Cruise Line, among many others.

According to the news, VIPs and senior tourism celebs came from some 35 countries this year to attend the WTA event at the Conrad Algarve in Portugal. Winners like the Hôtel Le Bristol in Paris (leading hotel), London (city break destination), and Turkey (leading tourism board) were highlights of a ceremony that provided many bright stars in tourism.

This WTA Europe Ceremony is the third leg of WTA’s Grand Tour that will lead to the discovery of the top world brands in travel. Dubai, Singapore and Turks & Caicos are others that will lead to the overall New Delhi event in December 2012. For the full list of this event’s winners, please click on this link.
