The Mantis Collection of five-star properties won four awards at the World Travel Awards 2012 (WTA), including the title of Africa’s Leading Boutique Hotel Brand. Other properties presented awards as part of the Africa & Indian Ocean division of the WTAs included Namibia's Leading Luxury Lodge for Sandfontein Game and Nature Reserve; South Africa's Leading Beach Hotel for The Last Word Long Beach, Cape Town; and Zimbabwe's Leading Hotel for The Stanley and Livingstone Hotel, Victoria Falls.
