Sandals Resorts International (SRI) broke company records at this year’s World Travel Awards’ Caribbean & The Americas Ceremony, held on Sept. 14, 2012 at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa. The Luxury Included resort company collected 14 awards, the most ever won by SRI in one year.

“We are honoured to receive the highest number of awards in Sandals Resorts’ history,” said Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, chairman, Sandals Resorts International.

“We always strive for excellence, and continue to invest in our product so that each year we can be proud to say we are Caribbean’s Leading Hotel Brand.”

The World Travel Awards further honoured Sandals Resorts International when it presented Adam Stewart, CEO with the organization’s Rising Star Award. The Rising Star award recognizes individuals making a difference at a young age in the tourism industry.

“I am both honoured and humbled to personally receive this award, as well as the awards that Sandals Resorts International has won,” said Adam Stewart, CEO, Sandals Resorts International.

“These awards demonstrate the high standards of our brand, and our team that ensure memorable experiences for our guests every day.”
