Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort is proud to unveil a brand new experience with its refreshed guest rooms, restaurants and facilities. Located atop Bali’s magnificent southwest coast and set against the Indian Ocean and renowned Tanah Lot temple, the 103-hectare resort invites guests to experience the essence of Balinese culture and tradition through its tranquil location and revitalised surrounds.

The US$10 million refurbishment, which was completed in December last year, includes the resort’s 278 guest rooms and villas, restaurants, bars and events spaces as well as the Nirwana Spa and children’s activities centre. Reflecting a sense of space and feeling of calm, the renewed Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort seeks to provide an invigorating blend of the unique culture and heritage of the Pacific Rim, synonymous with Pan Pacific’s brand promise of “Your refreshing Pacific experience”.

“In light of the increasingly competitive landscape in Bali, we decided to take on creative and proactive approaches that will differentiate our resort from the others, and strengthen the Pan Pacific brand in the region,” said Joseph Polito, General Manager of Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort. “The refurbishment is a strategic move for Pan Pacific to gain a competitive edge in the hospitality industry in Bali, and our offer of a fully-integrated resort that comes with a whole suite of new and unique offerings further reinforces our positioning in the market.”

Business made easy
Recognising the evolving and diverse needs and expectations of today’s travellers, the refurbishment marks the launch of many new facilities and offerings at the resort. Amongst its new features are Pan Pacific’s signature Pacific Club rooms and Pacific Club. Ideal for business executives, the Pacific Club offers guests personalised butler service and a host of exclusive privileges such as unlimited WIFI connectivity, comprehensive secretarial services along with 24-hour access to the fully-equipped pantry, daily breakfast and evening cocktails at the Pacific Lounge.

New and innovative concepts
For dining and entertainment, Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort now boasts eight distinctive concepts matched with a diverse range of international and local cuisines. Its signature Merica restaurant features the all-new Pacific Cuisine -an engaging and innovative interpretation of the cuisines along the Pacific Rim.

Another exciting dining option is the enhanced TLC, an inviting café wine bar that serves up signature Pacific Cocktails inspired by the Pacific Rim and created with local ingredients. Freshly brewed specialty coffees, paninis and tapas are also available. (Please refer to Appendix for complete list of restaurants, bars and events facilities.)

Family-friendly experiences
In addition, families can now look forward to staying at 10 newly-created family rooms well-appointed with children’s bunk beds, 30 television channels and Nintendo Wii? video game consoles. Combined with the enlivened Kids Club offering a host of activities including pottery, dancing and cooking classes, these new facilities are sure to keep little ones entertained.

Relaxation amidst scenic landscapes
Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort is also home to the award-winning 18-hole world class Greg Norman golf course, set amidst staggered rice fields and 19 temples. Beyond this, the surrounding lush greenery and breathtaking views offers the perfect setting for any business and social event, in addition to the resort’s grand ballroom and four function spaces.

For ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation, the enhanced Nirwana Spa features 24 specialty treatment rooms, with separate steam and sauna areas, a yoga room, gym, tennis courts and indoor squash courts.

“The scenic natural setting of this tranquil paradise and the newly-refurbished aspects of Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort lend themselves to what the Pan Pacific brand is all about,” said Mr Polito. “Whether it’s appreciating the breathtaking views of our location, indulging in a sport, golf or the array of outdoor activities available, or savouring the fine cuisine from our restaurants, every guest will embark on their own personalised and refreshing journey of discovery at this great resort.”

Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort has won the ‘Indonesia’s Leading Golf Resort’ title in the World Travel Awards for two consecutive years (2010, 2011) since it was rebranded a Pan Pacific in 2010.

The resort is up for the same award in this year’s World Travel Awards, and has also garnered a nomination for ‘Asia’s Leading Golf Resort’ as well as ‘Indonesia’s Leading Spa Resort’.
The winners of the 2012 World Travel Awards will be announced later in the year.
