The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd., and several of its members, earned top accolades from the recent World Travel Awards ceremony in Doha.

The company itself was named World’s Leading Hotel Alliance, and was also honoured with World’s Leading Luxury Hotel Brand Website. Several member hotels claimed prizes in the top category, including One&Only The Palm, Dubai (World’s Leading New Resort), Saxon Boutique & Spa, South Africa (World’s Leading Boutique Hotel), and Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic (World’s Leading Golf Resort), to name but a few.

The World Travel Awards was held in partnership with Qatar Tourism Authority at Katara Cultural Village, Doha’s new arts and exhibitions complex.

Commenting on the awards, regional director, Middle East, The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. Hatem Chatter said: “We are delighted that so many of our member hotels were honoured among the world’s leading establishments, and that so many more of them claimed top accolades in regional, continental and country categories.
