This September, Norwegian Cruise Line was named “Europe’s Leading Cruise Line” for the fourth year in a row by the World Travel Awards.

Voted on by travel professionals and travelers worldwide, the prestigious World Travel Awards recognizes travel companies who deliver an outstanding customer experience. And from 2008 to 2011, Norwegian has been continually recognized as redefining European cruises.

“Norwegian is dedicated to providing guests with a unique cruise vacation that allows them the convenience and value to experience the rich culture and history of Europe on their own terms,” said Kevin Sheehan, chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line.”

We make it happen with our little touches, like extended restaurant hours on all Europe sailings, so you can explore until the sun goes down. It’s in our big differences, like an array of 7-day itineraries that let you fill up on as much of Europe as other cruise lines’ 12-day itineraries. And it’s our dedication to Freestyle Cruising®, giving you a world of freedom and flexibility wherever you choose to sail.

For our 2012 sailings, we’ve added more of the Europe-less-traveled to our itineraries. Travel nine days aboard Norwegian Jade in southern Spain’s exotic Canary Islands. Or sail to our two new French ports aboard Norwegian Epic — Nice (Villefranche) and Provence (Marseilles). Cruise directly to the 14 islands of Stockholm aboard Norwegian Jade. And for the first time, Norwegian Spirit will sail year-round in Europe after calling New Orleans home for the past year.
