Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited (“Lanson Place” or the “Company”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wing Tai Properties Limited is pleased to announce that its Lanson Place Hotel has won two awards in the World Travel Awards 2011.

Lanson Place Hotel has been awarded as the “Asia’s Leading Boutique Hotel” and “Hong Kong’s Leading Hotel” by World Travel Awards, a global leader on one of the most important aspects of travel and tourism for over 18 years. It serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry. Winners were chosen based on a voting process online. The votes come from executives working within travel and tourism, travel agents and travelling public. Lanson Place Hotel has won two major awards of World Travel Awards, reflecting the Group’s high quality accommodation offering outstanding services.

The awards are the latest industry recognitions given to Lanson Place Hotel. Shortly after its opening in 2006, Lanson Place Hotel has become Hong Kong’s first member of “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”, and recently has been recognized as one of the “Best Designed Boutique Hotel of China 2010” by China Hotel Starlight Awards and “Highly Commented Hotel” in its inaugural Asia Pacific Hotels Awards 2011 in association with Bloomberg Television and Google.

Mr. Marc Hediger, Chief Executive Officer of Lanson Place, said: “We are honoured to have received two significant awards from the judges. Leveraging our strong brand reputation and personalized services and recognition in the industry, we are confident the Group will continue to sustain impressive growth in Asia’s hospitality market. We have recently signed our third management contract in Shanghai, becoming the ninth property in our portfolio”.

Currently, Lanson Place operates and manages one boutique hotel in Hong Kong and seven serviced residences in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. To capture the opportunities in China and South East Asia, the Group has recently been appointed as the manager for a new property located in Shanghai. It offers 79 luxurious Serviced Residences to senior expatriates.
