The annual hotel awards programme is renowned as the most prestigious and comprehensive in the travel and tourism industry, with over 650,000 votes cast by travel professionals and high-end tourism consumers in 2014.
How It Works
World Travel Awards supports, promotes and develops the global travel and tourism industry by identifying and rewarding excellence and inspiring its practitioners to continually raise the standards of their product and service offering.
Each year World Travel Awards covers the globe staging a series of regional Gala Ceremonies to present its prestigious hotel awards within each geographical region.
The World Travel Awards Grand Tour Gala Ceremonies are regarded as milestone events in the industry calendar, attended by key decision makers, figure heads and the leading trade and consumer media.
Each year, the Grand Tour sees World Travel Awards stage regional Gala Ceremonies in the Middle East, Africa & the Indian Ocean, Latin America, North America & the Caribbean, Asia & Australasia and Europe.
All regional winners then compete head to head in a final round of voting to decide who will triumph in the World Travel Awards Grand Final - the ultimate hotel awards accolade.
