Takims Holidays is a long-established company with over 60 years experience in Tanzania’s hospitality & tourism sector. The company started as a travel agency in Zanzibar in the 1940's and branched out into Dar es Salaam in the 1950's and later Arusha in 1981.

In addition to servicing corporate and leisure air travel requirements through its IATA-accredited Travel division, Takims Holidays owns and maintains a fleet of modern 4x4 vehicles with various value added services such as built in fridge, electrical outlets to charge cell phones, laptops and other electronic devices, customized pop up roof, two-way radios for constant communication from any region of Tanzania and English speaking driver/guides. Safari programs cover all tourist destinations in the country including the iconic national parks, conservation areas as well as beach holidays.
