Operating since May 2009, the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa has cemented its position as a premium holiday destination for guests of all ages.
These include the resort’s signature Planet Trekkers childcare facility, child amenities and dining experiences; with Natadola Bay as the perfect location for some sun, sand, surf, snorkelling and more.
“Our Fijian family is well known for our unconditional and welcoming warmth when taking care of families that arrive on our shores,” says Andrew Davidson, Area General Manager South Pacific at the InterContinental Fiji.
“To ensure that we offer the best possible experience, our childcare attendants and nannies are trained by Australian Child Wise experts to provide an exciting and fun – yet very safe environment for younger guests to enjoy,” says Andrew Davidson, Area General Manager South Pacific at the InterContinental Fiji.
“Understanding the needs of discerning younger guests, the InterContinental Hotels Group also has a specially designed nutritional children’s menu and an engaging Planet Trekkers mobile app to excite children before, during and after their trip.
“To achieve this recognition on a continental level is a fantastic honour.
“This is testimony to how our team endeavours to deliver seamless service and make every guest encounter truly special.
“From our executive chef personally ensuring that any dietary request is catered for, to our recreations team regaling families with their personal insight into Fiji’s unique culture and history.”
Heralded as the “travel industry’s equivalent to the Oscar’s” by the Wall Street Journal, The World Travel Awards were launched in 1993 to acknowledge excellence in the travel and tourism industry and are now in their 25th year.
