Turkish Tourist Office is nominated for The World Travel Awards 2008, also known as the ‘Oscars of Tourism’. Turkish Tourist Office is one of the strongest nominee to won the Europe’s Leading Tourist Board prize.
France (French Tourist Board), Germany (German National Tourist Office), Greece (Greek National Tourism Organisation), Spain (Instituto de Turismo de España), Italy (Italian State Tourism Board), Portugal Tourism Board (Turismo de Portugal), and the United Kingdom (VisitBritain) are the other candidates for the 15th World Travel Awards 2008, which will be held on December 5th in the Caribbean.
The World Travel Awards started in 1993 in recognition of the work carried out by the tourist industry worldwide. The selection of nominees is made by thousands of professionals working in tourism who choose their favourite destinations each year.
