In addition we must thank our owners Zarakh Iliev and God Nisanov who have continually worked hard to provide a superior, world class product. Without this dedication awards like this would not be possible", continued Nitschke.

World Travel Awards has been described as the "Oscars of the travel industry" (Wall Street Journal). It was launched in 1993 to acknowledge and recognise excellence in the global travel and tourism industry.

Luxury in the Heart of Moscow
The Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow is one of the legendary "Seven Sisters" - the Soviet skyscrapers masterminded by Stalin. Designed by leading Soviet architects Arkady Mordvinov and Vyacheslav Oltarzhevsky, the monumental 34-storey-building was constructed between 1949 and 1957.

The property reopened its doors in April 2010 after an extensive 3-years renovation - it features today 497 elegant guest rooms & suites as well as 38 serviced apartments. For its most demanding business clientele, the Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow comprises a dedicated Executive Floor with personalized service. The hotel's 13 versatile meeting rooms offer an elegant venue for conferences & events. Two conference & banqueting halls are spread across 450 square meters and host up to 280 guests for a cocktail reception and up to 150 for a gala dinner.

The business centre features state-of-the-art technical equipment, and staff is available to assist with any request. Delegates can use free high-speed internet access, as well as the hotel library that offers a wide selection of books.

Guests at the Radisson Royal Hotel enjoy fine dining in Moscow without ever leaving the grounds. The hotel's 9 restaurants and bars belong to the best in town - among them the Iranian "Farsi", the Japanese "Takasa" and Arkady Novikov's "Tatler Club". The Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow even offers the opportunity for a lunch or dinner on the Moskva River: Yacht Restaurants with all-the-year-round navigation run from the hotel along the most picturesque sights of the Russian Capital.

The rooms and public spaces of the building are decorated with a collection of paintings, which comprises more than 1,200 original master works by Russian artists created in the first half of last century. Near the reception area, guests can admire an absolutely unique Diorama named "Moscow - the capital of the USSR": On a total surface of 400 square meters and reduced in scale 1:75 it presents the historical centre of Moscow in the year 1977 when it was created.
